Last night another different cat got a surprise when our carport camera spoke to him/her. The cat turned to look where the voice had come from, and was literally caught in the light. So far as we know, visiting cats have not managed to penetrate the fortifications built around the courtyard.

We walked to Market Organics for breakfast, leaving Bluey to guard the house. Coffees were good, but instead of getting Vegemite for Anita’s toast, she was served a “healthier option” which she did not like. There was no Vegemite so she settled for jam.
I took Bluey to Petstock to buy him a harness. He trembled the whole time he was there. After trying on three different types, I settled for the one with a hook-up point on top and another one near his chest. I tested these, and a gentle pull gets him walking again after his many stops.

Our air conditioning units were due for service, and have-a-chat Kel did the honours. I took his heavy ladder upstairs in the lift for him. I had to move a few things to let him have access to the garage unit.
I have been slowly ticking off jobs on my ever growing list. I was going to start on the veranda flyscreens, but the wind and rain sent me back inside.
I was going to drive to Advancetown for bags of Proteq, a compressed timber product we use as kitty litter for Tilly. It is produced as a bedding material for horses. I rang our supplier and it was an easy decision to get it delivered when the deliver cost is only $6.60.
The unresponsive Trent supposedly giving away a broken queen size bed, again failed to respond to my very polite question about whether he really does still have the bed to give away. I may have to buy a couple of lengths of cheap timber to get that job done.
When I heard an unusual sound from downstairs, I discovered Tilly on the untidy shelf standing on Bluey’s Frisbee. She kept making it squeak!
