Caravan TV

Bluey had a run on the beach at low tide, chasing a young labrador. He was good again walking to the coffee shop – he likes Papercup because he is allowed inside. Understably he doesn’t like being left outside while I order coffee.

We were about to drive to the carvan to test out the new TV, when this crane arrived. Our neighbours were having new flashing and a box gutter fitted to their roof, which had a few leaks. The truck delivered the materials, and the crane lifted the bundle onto the roof. It then lowered this huge, redundant satellite dish to the ground.

We forgot to take the TV remote control with us, so couldn’t search for channels. We did get sound and picture from the satellite dish for 30 seconds, but then the picture disappeared. At least this confirmed I had the right connections!

We paid $80 to have the van cleaned, and they did a fabulous job. We would have spent two days cleaning it to even get close to this result. The roof is remarkably clean.

We stopped at the Meat Hub and at supermarkets on our way home. I bought a few prawns to use as bait, and to give each of the critters a treat. Bluey was crazy as he hasn’t been left alone for ages.

We accidentally locked Tilly on the front veranda all night again. When I let her in she was so happy to be with us. Instead of spending most of the day in the courtyard, she stayed close. One time I found her sleeping on a dining chair under the table, then in one of her beds. She must have been awake all night!

I need to be able to move my heavy tools on work benches, so fitted brackets that raise the table saw bench onto castors for moving. The wheels are off the ground when not needed.

I received a phone call from a man who found my caravan keys at Queens Beach in Bowen. He can’t get to a post office for a couple of weeks, but hopefully will send them to me later.
